What inspires you to do photography?

It wasn’t until my father passed away that I reflected on life. Working in Amsterdam and not connected to my family, I realized, through their encouragement that your dreams will never be reality if you don’t put in the effort. My dream was to be a photographer so I decided to move back to Bangkok. And so here I am today, running around with a camera and loving every moment of it!

Why do you love Bangkok?

I love Bangkok because, simply, it’s my home. It’s where my family is and where I feel the most comfortable and relaxed. Also, there are always things to do for any mood I’m in and new, interesting spaces and people for my camera to photograph.

What’s the one thing you’d say someone who is considering your experience ?. What would it be?

What’s made you smile today?

Oh! Interesting question. Well, Other than the ice cream I’m eating now? I took some great photos earlier on the way to this interview and capturing those made me smile too!

What is it about what you do that makes you happy?

Photography allows me to explore and remember each moment. I love taking photos of everything – people, architecture, and my travels. It’s a great way to connect with people and places because I really study my subjects for the best angles, the little details, things like that.
